Hmm... *Turns around the S.H.4.R.K.*
I think there's a problem on the blue lines. Some places, lines are not normal. They're too thick or too thin. You should make them same. Other than that, you should seperate the grey cannon and the red base. I mean, they're smoothed together. After that, maybe you'd like to add some details to cannon.

Even so that's a brilliant work :) I love the reflections and the material. Keep up the good work! ;)

Finally some constructive criticism! Thank you so much! =)

Unfortunately, the vertexes weren't all the same size, so that was the only result I could get with the ble lines. The idea in the cannon was to have it partially painted with the red, but I admit that it looks kinda stupid now that I think of it. What kind of details should I add to the cannon?

Thank you again for your comment. I really appreciate that you took time to write constructive criticism!

Ah, never mind ^^

Details... If cannon is going to fire energy weapons, you should enlarge the mouth, give it some good elliptical shape. [Elliptical shape must be vertical ^^]If you're using 3dsmax, use shell modifier on the cannon to give it a thickness. For the middle places, you may like to add some of those blue lines to give it a more advanced tech. look. And add some hoses from base to cannon. Model some very basic joints to move your cannon right or left. For reference images, you can use google anytime :D
:icondanlei:
Ohh, I never even thought of the thickness or the joints. I really need to try them out. Thanks for the tips, man!

Oh, and I'm using blender but I think it has a modifier similar to the shell modifier in max.

Ok, my turn to comment now !
The red material is very nice, really looks like some metallic painting with a nice pattern underneath !
Though I love the concept of the blue lines (I use it pretty often !), I usually give them some "purpose" when I draw them...yours seem random. For instance, the line following the wing is really nice. Now, if that was what you wanted, no criticism !
As already said, the cannon seems a little...cheap, compared to the rest.
First, I think it breaks the aerodynamic shape
Second, it looks like an addition of an old piece of technology on something really modern. The idea of an energy weapon is already detailled, nothing to add, but you could play the card of the old/modern weapon by creating something like a needle launcher. I think some thick needles (let's say propelled by a magnetic field) could be really nice. The idea I have in mind would really fit with the lines of the rest of the ship.
Now, having some extended knowledge in aerodynamics, flight dynamics, etc, the idea I could give is to allow the tip of your wings (the bulge which seems to allow a vertical sustainment) to rotate around the wing axis.
Now, I think I'm done. Though I usually like ships slimer, yours is pretty good, especially regarding the texture. Hope I wasn't too hard !

Awesome! I'm always excited about constructive critisism! :)

You're right about the blue lines. They look like they're decorative (which they are) and it would've been better if they'd be like some energy wires or something. I chose the easy path and made those circles, which I regret midly.

The cannon sucks I know. I've never modeled or designed a ship before and I made this using a rough sketch I made. I should've made it look more mechanical or something :D

And, I gotta say that I could really use a lesson or two of aerodynamics. Usually it's best to model what you know and I don't know much about ships etc. I should do more homework on that subject. I was considering the rotation of the bulks, but the thought of it came too late. I had already modeled the bulks and I was too lazy to convert them to be rotatable.

Again, thanks for taking time to write the comment. I learned a lot! :)

Looks good. Keep working and great renders will appear soon.

Thanks! I'm working on a animation project atm. I will post WIP-shots of it soon =)
