Sorry guys..

Sat Aug 1, 2009, 3:08 AM
I got a job 3 weeks ago. Right after I had joined the Legion. I only have time to visit dA during weekends so I really don't have time to complete the tasks. I like the task and they are really inspiring but I can't get them done in such short notice.

Also, I get 700+ deviations and 300+ messages to my watch every week so I can't keep up with the flood. I really want to check all the 3D works in my watch and comment in all of them but I havenät been able to do that lately as I've spent my time on dA desperately trying to keep up with Legion stuff. I really can't do it anymore. So I must regretfully announce, that I'm giving up my number and resigning from the Legion.

I really like the experiment and I enjoyed the funny and clever art pieces of the fellow legionnaires. Keep up the good work guys!

Hey man and thanks for adding me to your DevWatch!

I've put my 3D skills to the ultimate test. I'm making a short animation. The concept has grown from a simple test reel to a high-class feature clip. I'm really excited about the project even though it's clearly more than I can chew. I've already invested countless hours to the animation projects and I've really had to dig up good tutorials and tips to improve my skills. I hope it pays off in the end.

How's your 3D? I've only seen you submitting your literature lately but I recall seeing some 3D art from you.

All the best in your new project. If it's more than you can chew, try to take things slow and don't do too much at once. It's only the beginning. The learning journey is to be fun, not stressful.

I made a small goal to complete 20 pieces of prose before I move on to a new area, until then I won't budge from it as my mind is set.

I am now learning Maya on the side. I found the UI of 3ds Max rather layerd and dull. So yeah, I'm sstrating 3d afresh. I think I'll be up to speed when I go through all the video tutorials.

Well it's not that new to be honest.. I've been slowly working on it for over 6 months now :) So this has been a long term project for me. It covers almost every aspect of Blender so it's a tough challenge but it will be worth it.

Whoa 20 pieces of prose? Sounds awfully lot to me, good luck man! How much have you already completed? :)

Maya is a good choice. Many professionals consider it the best so I wish you luck with learning the secrets of Maya! I'd love to see the fruits of your training soon! =)
